BORA Alliance was founded and registered in 2022 by crop scientists from Africa University, inspired by a vision to restore soils, strengthen families and empower communities through sustainable agriculture. In 2025 the Government of Burundi formally recognised BORA Alliance as a trusted partner in national development.
