More than 300 students have been trained to establish Climate Smart Nutrition Gardens for vegetables, without inorganic fertilizers.
BORA Alliance promotes agricultural education through Regenerative Farmer Schools, and works to empower youth and women as green entrepreneurs. Partnerships with research institutions help adapt climate-smart, organic solutions to the Burundian context.
The gardens serve two purposes at once: the schools get food, and the students get a skill they can take home to their families.
